Hi! I’m James Neves and I run The Goblin Cave Studios, a Vancouver based studio which offers sound design and implementation for video games as well as complete post sound solutions for film and television.
I moved to Vancouver to take the sound design for visual media course at Vancouver Film School and have called Vancouver home ever since. I’ve been nominated for 3 Leo awards for my film sound work and took home best sound at the 2023 Vancouver Badass Film Festival for my work on the short film SEED. I have also spent years working in AAA game development first as an audio QA specialist for games such as NHL, Gears Of War, and the Peabody Award winning 1000XResist; and later as an audio artist at EA where I currently work.
